I am NOT happy with our band. I know that’s kind of shitty to say, but if we were to put out our EP with the songs we currently have plus another two that sound the same, I wouldn’t be proud. We are not cookie cutter but it’s bland and we need more. So me and diane were talking via aim and here are the points I think are most valuable to this:
-bass vs guitar sound for each song (guitar and bass battling eachother and then complimenting each other)
-faster music that competes with itself
-we cannot being more basic than blink basic even though we are amateurs
-we need to step away from easy and comfortable
-different parts
-redo ALL our current songs to make them (harder) better (faster, stronger)
-ttc will not be an acoustic, but it will be a regular full band song
-sway possibly will be our “slow song,” maybe not.
-take off with the rest of the songs (to me, this means: make them insanely interesting, push it to the limit)
NEW ISSUE: TWO GUITARS OR ONE? If we have two, they cannot play the same rhythm, cause that will be repetitive and useless, a music cockblock.
